StageRight was selected to provide two sets of telescopic seating risers for the Capital One Arena, formerly the Verizon Center, to accommodate the conversion between hockey and basketball in a venue hosting both an NHL and NBA professional sports team. Since this conversion is frequent, it was imperative to have a system that was quick and easy to use. Additionally, Capital One Arena has a focus on its fans and wanted to provide them an improved seating experience, especially considering the price associated with these prime seating locations. In response, StageRight went to great lengths to understand the conversion process and the operational and storage needs of the Verizon Center.
StageRight provided the Telematic 200, a rock-solid telescopic with a robust design to handle the high-frequency conversions required. Conversion times improved and season ticket holders were pleased with the look and feel of permanent seating.
